How to Pitch with a Baitcaster. In this video, I show you how easy it is to pitch with a baitcaster. You do not need to have very expensive gear or a heavy lure to pitch like the pros. I am using an Abu Garcia Black Max rod and reel that you can pick up on Amazon or at Walmart. I recommend for beginners to hold the bait when pitching. When you hold the lure, it is much more accurate and will travel further. I know that using a baitcaster, in general, can be tricky for some. Once you get familiar with the rod and reel, I promise you will love using it!
