NJ Pike Fishing with Ken Beam! Fishing spots in NJ!

Went after Stripers early Wednesday mornin`........ They just weren`t in my spot down the shore.....just yet. Another week or so ought to be rockin` though...... So after a few fruitless hours in the saltwater, decided to head north to the Passaic River as I had plenty of afternoon daylight to have a go at a few River wolves for a few hours.

The river was definitely low, as I worked my `Yak in and around debris & brush.

Only took about 20 minutes to nail my first Pike that afternoon........ Hell probably the smallest one I ever caught;

But catching young Esox is a good thing in my book..... means they`re thriving well in that ideal habitat..... the murky old Passaic.

Kept working my way in the slow current....... eventually landing two other young Northerns on my spinner-bait.......And one "follow" -

Then late in the afternoon, I had a really good vicious strike right at the `Yak & landed this nice 30 incher.......

A few great Fall fishing hours on the river indeed.
