This travel fishing rod combo kit is absolutely great with a beautiful brilliant classic silver polished design. This fishing rod carries with it durability, strength, adjustability and flexibility. The pole doesn’t lock down when retracted, so they provide you with a nice little plastic cup piece that keeps it from extending accidentally. When fully extended, the individual pieces lock firmly into place, and seem to be quite durable. Talking now about the reel Keep in mind the price of this combo set. Don’t expect a $150 plus reel. However it is as nice as any of the other fresh water fishing reels equipment available in the market. This reel spins smoothly without resistance, the action is fine. It’s a little stiff when changing it from the casting to reeling mode by winding, but it will loosen up with the time. In addition the drag works fine and is easily adjusted. Really a great deal for the price. Finally, this is a great combo kit and I recommend it 100% with no reserve.
