The challenge to catch some cold water Winter bass in Maryland continues!!! I was lucky to fish a farm pond that wasn't completely iced over and managed to pull out of few Winter bass. A blade bait and Ned rig were the ticket to tempting the chilly Winter pond bass into biting!!! Fish slow, lighten up your line, add scent to your baits and get out there if you still have some open water! You may surprise yourself at how well the bass bite this time of year with the right baits, tackle & techniques...
